EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR LOLAs Early Care and Education Center Mrs. Meghan Strawcutter, M.Ed.
Ms Meghan earned her Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Child Development and Family Studies. She continued her studies at Carlow University earning her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and PA Teacher Certification. Meghan has also obtained certification in Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS) as a Professional Development Instructor. Meghan's most recent experience includes instructing undergraduate students at Westmoreland County Community College (2014 - 2019) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2012 - 2015). She has over fifteen years of professional experience in various child care settings, including six years as a teacher in a star four, NAEYC accredited early learning center. Ms Meghan worked along-side the financial investor to develop LOLAs Early Care and Education Center, non-profit, from the ground-up. It has been one of her most rewarding experiences to participate in the development and growth of the center over the years. Meghan continues to develop her skills as a professional in the field of Early Childhood, serving on various committees and advisory boards to advocate for high quality child care and early education and appropriate pay and benefits for child care teachers.
BABYLON CLASSROOM Young Toddlers Lead Teacher Jaimie Rising, AGS, CDA
Ms Jaimie has a variety of experiences working with children including Sunday school teacher, various volunteer opportunities and raising four children of her own. Ms Jaimie, who the children refer to as "Meme" works to build a relationship with the children and their families. The children thrive in the nurturing and home style environment she creates in the classroom. Ms Jaimie has an Associates Degree in General Studies from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a CDA from Edinboro University.
Infants Assistant Teacher Kyleigh Bell
Ms Kyleigh is fun and energetic - the perfect fit for the young toddler classroom! She works hard to provide the children with the best classroom possible. When you walk into the young toddler classroom you will always hear music playing and the teachers singing along, with the children! Ms Kyleigh is planning to attend West Penn University to earn her associates degree in Early Childhood Education.
Infants Assistant Teacher Karin Frobey
Ms Karin joined our school after moving to Pennsylvania from South Carolina in order to be closer to her adult children. She has a wealth of experience working with infants - as she was a lead teacher at a high quality facility in South Carolina for many years. Her love for the youngest of children is obvious as she is a very nurturing and warm teacher. Ms Karin began at LOLAs working in the infant classroom, but recently moved to the Young Toddlers Classroom on the "Waddlers" side. This side of the classroom is specially designed for toddlers who are still getting their "footing" and need a little extra attention.
NAZARETH CLASSROOM Infants Lead Teacher Stephanie Daugherty, M.S.
Ms Stephanie has a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Relations. She has a variety of experiences working with young children including teaching in a preschool setting as well as in a toddler classroom. Stephanie creates a nurturing environment where each infants individual needs are met in a caring way.
Young Toddlers Teacher's Aide Emily Miller
Ms Emily, Teacher's Aide, is planning to attend Penn West to earn her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Her excitement for working with the children is contagious. Ms Emily arrives each day with a smile - she displays a "children's needs first" attitude. She is a blessing to the classroom - the children absolutely love her nurturing presence.
Young Toddlers Assistant Teacher Sydney Harrison
Ms Sydney is currently taking classes at Penn West to receive her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She works full-time as an assistant teacher in the older toddler classroom. Ms Sydney previously worked at a center closer to her hometown as the lead teacher of an older toddler classroom. Through this experience she realized her passion for working with young children.
BETHLEHEM CLASSROOM Older Toddlers Lead Teacher Lacey Howe
Ms Lacey graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She lives in Indiana with her husband and two children. Ms Lacey is nurturing and caring - she enjoys watching the children grow and learn. She has previous experience working as a Pre-K Counts Assistant Teacher and an Assistant Teacher for Head Start. It was through these experiences that Ms Lacey discovered her desire to work with the youngest of children. She is a nurturing and dedicated teacher who puts the needs of the children first.
Older Toddlers Assistant Teacher Morgan Nelson
Ms Morgan is currently taking classes at Penn West to receive her associates degree in Early Childhood Education. She works full-time as an assistant teacher in the older toddler classroom. Morgan focuses on the importance of a personal connection with children. She is a very dedicated teacher and works hard to provide the highest quality care for all the children.
EDEN CLASSROOM Full-Day 3/4 Year-Old Preschool Lead Teacher Amanda Schrecongost, B.S.
Ms Amanda graduated Magna Cum Laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Disability Services. Amanda began her career over five years ago and gained experience in classrooms ranging from infants all the way to before/after school care for children up to age twelve. During her time in the field she has filled many roles, including lead teacher, center safety captain, team lead and assistant director. Ms Amanda brings a wealth of experience to the classroom and provides a structured, play-based, educationally focused experience for the children.
Ms Cameron graduated from Lock Haven University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Teacher's Certificate in grades Prek-4 and Prek-12 in Special Education. She lives in Indiana with her fiancé and Golden Retriever Labradoodle Mix, Oakley. Ms Cameron is devoted to making a positive difference in the lives of children. As one of our newest teachers, we are excited to watch the children learn and grow in Ms Cameron's room!

Ms Taya began working for LOLAs in 2019. She invests her heart in her students, getting to know each on a personal level. Ms Taya is creative and works to provide individual instruction based on the child's unique interests. She currently has a bachelors degree in Special Education, in progress through Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
