What Makes a LOLAs Teacher?
All Lead Teachers hold a minimum of a Associates Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
All Assistant Teachers hold a minimum of two years of experience. Many of our assistant teachers are working towards their bachelors degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or a related field.
All LOLAs employees are certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED. All LOLAs employees have current state clearances and maintain professional development hours as required by Keystone STARS and DHS.
LOLAs employees continue education through earning credits in professional development courses, a minimum of 24 hours a year. If you've ever thought about obtaining your associates or bachelors degree in order to work with and educate children - LOLAs may be the place for you. We currently have a program which sends our teachers to school to obtain a certificate or degree at absolutely no personal cost.
Our teachers truly enjoy working with the children - but the added benefits of Child Care Coverage, a 401K with Employer Contribution, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and Paid Professional Development make it a career!
